(Senior) Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

Your task is the sales of our IT infrastructure solutions with a focus on enterprise networks, wireless LAN, and next-generation firewalls.
You develop new customer potential, identify new business opportunities, and consistently pursue them through to completion. In this versatile position, you shape relationship management for customer development and retention, and see yourself as an idea generator and partner to our customers.
You research needs and requirements, develop further pre-sales activities with our specialized departments and technical consultants, take the leading role as an Account Manager until contract conclusion, and accompany the projects during the implementation phase.
Your tasks
- Sales of services and products from leading IT manufacturers.
- Targeted customer acquisition and development of new customer potential.
- Intensive contact with existing customers - by phone, in person and digitally.
- Building, maintaining and developing long-term business relationships.
- Preparation and tracking of offers as well as order processing.
Your profile
- Experience in sales of complex network and security solutions requiring extensive explanation
- Prior knowledge of network and security solutions from manufacturers AVAYA, Aruba, Extreme Networks, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and Palo Alto Networks desirable
- Technical understanding and interest in complex operations and processes
- Sales strength and high closing and success orientation
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Customer and service focus
- Resilience, flexibility, initiative and willingness to take responsibility
- Very good German skills, both written and spoken
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
- Driving license (minimum) class 3 or B
